Pluto in Aquarius 3/23-1/44

Hi so here’s the dates that Pluto transits Aquarius:

  • 3/23/23 5.13am MST – 6/11/23 3.47am MDT (retrogrades into Capricorn)
  • 1/20/24 3.50pm MDT – 9/1/24 6.10pm MDT (retrogrades into Capricorn)
  • 11/19/24 1.29pm MST – 3/8/43 (shifts into Pisces)
  • 8/31/43 8.35pm MST – 1/19/44 2.30am MDT (shifts into Pisces for good)

I made a video talking about this but in no particular order, here are a number of other things on my mind regarding this transit:

Pandemic v2 – Long Covid / PASC (post-acute sequelae) – this entire generation will be absorbing the impact of our inaction in dealing with covid. Millions are probably permanently disabled, and those numbers are continuing to rise. What will the next 20 years look like for them? One guess: just ask what happens to disabled kids during school shootings or even drills.

Stochastic terrorism – the religious nuts will be hunting us for Jesus. The Christofascists are here and they don’t care about rightness, fairness, equality, or anything. They only appreciate power. We have to collectively reject them and smash the fascists. We must remain militantly intolerant of intolerance. My prediction is a bunch of y’all will try to play too nice for too long out of some sense of propriety that doesn’t exist when a group of people is trying to exterminate other groups of people.

So the symbology of Aquarius is about people power. By the end of the next 21 years, Pluto will have blazed a new way of relating to each other socially. But it’ll take some devastating events occurring before we do anything of actual substance. They say that the greatest wealth transfer in history will be happening as the Boomers die off and the Millenials inherit their parents’ property, but I think that won’t happen. First of all, we’re funneling all wealth to the top 1% and it’s not even like trying to be secret about it anymore. The wealth will be stolen just like everyone has stolen value from Millenials since 1983 (wage theft, gig economy, inflation, housing collapses, you name it). Boomers would not have what they do without taking it from us, and Gen X has graduated largely to the Boomer conservative lifestyle. Easy to do when you are able to own property, most of my generation will never be able to do these once basic things. Anyway, if the wealth isn’t stolen, I predict by the end of Pluto in Aquarius, we won’t be really interested in money as a society because we’ll be preoccupied with trying not to be crispy critters.

(Inserting here that organized strikes against capitalists, taxing the rich, going after Blackrock like the French are is probably going to be one of the main ways that we can fight. Let’s set up systems of mutual aid and have don’t-go-to-work weeks! We need to shut everything down. Sooner than later.)

So now that the populists have us all fighting about basic human rights, we really aren’t looking at climate change. It’s been warned that where I live that the Great Salt Lake will be dried up in the next 5 years (!), and with a layer of toxic sediment at the bottom of the lake, that the area will soon be uninhabitable. They’ve given us til 2030 to get the earth’s temp down by 2 degrees Celcius. I’m just not seeing us hitting those numbers.

I also think birth rates will drastically lower, as a result of the Christofascist abortion ban. People will do more not to get pregnant. Also because of increased violence and encroaching climate change, populations will plateau or decline greatly. Adding to this are things like microplastics, which are shown to be adversely affecting global fertility rates. Becoming pregnant is going to become more difficult and maintaining a healthy pregnancy and taking care of newborns will also be much more difficult.

In the video I reference the popular belief that we are in the Age of Aquarius. We will all be dead by then (2159ish), but the grandchildren who are born to the survivors of the Pluto in Aquarius generation will see the actual dawning of the New Age. The Pluto in Aquarius time will determine how that time period comes about. Will we be hippies doing Twyla Tharp choreo or will we be the Borg?

Anyway I think we all need less “Love and Light” bullshit and a lot more “Eat the Rich.” I talk in the video about moral relativism, and people generally refer to that as a bad thing. But moral absolutism, or the idea that there are certain moral positions that are static across cultures, was made by the same old white dead dudes that gave us racist eugenicist psychology and medicine. I think we all will be forced into positions and actions that we never thought we would take. Does that make you bad or does that mean you had to do what you had to do? Ya know?

TBH I think something so insane will happen before next year is over that it will redefine our cultural landscape for the next 20 years. I think we are headed into a time of mass death and conflict. If we act collectively, we might stand a chance. But y’all won’t even wear a fucking mask to make public spaces more safe and accessible for disabled people, so I’m not holding my breath. There will definitely be people trying to be leaders after the fact lol, like what you doing now? Anyway, hope I’m wrong.

I recorded a video and it’s pretty intense, and I ran out of time lolzie. After having watching several of my videos in the past, I thought I’d try not to speak in coded messages, so I’m trying to be as direct as possible. But it makes me pissed, so I start building up steam lol. Also there’s some mixed streams talking about like the Great Conjunction and the Procession of the Equinoxes / Age of Aquarius. Check it out here and please let me know if you’d like any other info or clarifications:

Great Conjunction 12/21/20

Or, why it’s not the Age of Aquarius

OR, I figured I could deliver a hot take at any time over the next 20 years and probably be fine. Lol

Here’s the dates I looked up:

Full Moon in Aquarius and Lunar Eclipse 8/7

Hey hey hey,

This upcoming full moon in Aquarius sets off the fall eclipse season. It won’t be visible here in SLC because the moon will have set and it will be daytime, but you can check here for lunar eclipse visibility. The full moon will take place at 15 degrees Aquarius on Monday, August 7 at 12:10pm MST, and the partial lunar eclipse will be exact at 12:21pm MST.

The Aquarius full moon (or the Sturgeon Moon or Green Corn Moon) is the natural development of intentions set during the previous new moon in Leo. Heart-level goals were the focus a few weeks ago, and this full moon shares and realizes those goals with those groups of people with which you identify. Long story short, it’s the time to put the focus on sharing your individuality with others. Aquarius is people-power, and an aspect of the sign I think is often overlooked is how your unique energy fits in with others. It’s not just the general Other People, but specifically Your People-and WHY they are your people. How do we fit in to the network that frames our lives? Not just what other people do for us, but conversely, what do we do for them? No man is an island, and this is an important time to open yourself up to others, to possibly meet new people you wouldn’t have the chance to before, and explore your identity within group dynamics.

Aquarius is also the sign of wishes and dreams, through it’s association with the 11th House. This should be an active time of getting out of your own bubble and going to see what’s going on in those other bubbles. Connecting with others is the name of the game now.

As far as the eclipse is concerned, it is a partial rather than total eclipse, so it won’t be as powerful as a total lunar or solar eclipse. It does, however, trigger events in motion that last til the next eclipse season in the spring. I think of them as a portal or doorway. The invitation is there for you to refocus and rejuvenate under a new kind of energy. As lunar eclipses always happen on a full moon, that burst of energy we usually feel while howling at a full moon goes subconscious and becomes internalized. This again has to do with Aquarius energy, how we relate and connect to others. This will last until the spring (we also have a total eclipse in Leo coming up toward the end of the month, and that will be an amazing time to settle into your own amazing creative fertility!).

There are also some amazing things happening in the sky at the time of the full moon eclipse, and they will carry through energetically til the next eclipse cycle:

  • MYSTIC RECTANGLE-a relatively rare astrological pattern consisting of two trines (harmonious flow of energy) and two sextiles (blossoming potentials energy). This formation has already begun as I write this on Saturday. The planets involved are Venus in Cancer sextile Mercury in Virgo trine Pluto in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces, trine Venus in Cancer. (Check out the photo of today’s chart for a visual.) This particular gives me the impression that our feelings are in line with our communication, because we are recognizing how we are changing in the world and somehow coming to terms with our own spirituality. Long story short, we will have an understanding of our emotions, and how to accomplish tangible goals due to the insight the emotions provide. It also might be a time where we feel really pleasantly and choose to kick back and enjoy it. The amount of things that get done will depend on you, you’ll have these energies at your disposal.
  • MINOR GRAND TRINE-a more common pattern consisting of a planet creating a sextile between two planets that are trine. These planets are the Sun/North Node/Mars in Leo trine Saturn in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Libra sextile both. This formation signals creativity and growth, especially with the planet sextiling the trine. This is a massively positive energy to carry through eclipse season. The conjunction of Sun/North Node/Mars is making us aware of the mile markers on our life path and pressing us to be as creative and have as much fun as possible. This is trine Saturn, which is trials and tests. This means that this period of time gives us a solid foundation and understanding of our limits, but we will be in tune with it. We will understand that our trials are helping us get to where we want to go. And the sextile with Jupiter to both, from within the sign of Libra, means that our personal relationships will blossom and foster the growth of our creativity and our philosophical development.

This upcoming eclipse season will be an eye-opener! And our eyes will be on what we can create and share with others. There is some relief and new inspiration if we know where to look-in the microcosms of universes of the people around us.

Cheers!

New Moon in Aquarius 1/27

Hi y’all,

The new moon lands at 8 degrees Aquarius tonight at 5.07pm MST. The new moon is the conjunction of the Sun and Moon, meaning they are both at the same point. The moon is in the Earth’s shadow and is dark for a few days. This symbolizes that the emotional/subconscious nature is in shadow, not yet illuminated by the conscious light of the Sun. It means we have a more primal energy, a more raw state that gives birth to a new energy, culminating with the full moon in Leo on February 10.

Aquarius is all about connection to the collective. How we maintain individuality and yet identify with groups of people. If it’s opposite sign of Leo is all about personal power and creativity, Aquarius is about people power and dreaming. Leo is ruled by our close-up star, the Sun. Aquarius is the far-off star, associated with clairvoyancy and vision. Traditionally ruled by Saturn, in modern astrology ruled by Uranus, Aquarius breaks the mold. It’s like the concept of genetic variance. If a gene pool is too shallow, it’s not good for the population. Aquarius comes in and gives us the alterations we need to keep the line moving into the future. The farsight of the Aquarian nature is ahead of its time. They have their finger on the future pulse, with their far-out knowledge directly sourced from somewhere else in the universe. Aliens, maybe? Who knows.

This moon cycle will have us thinking about how we fit into the collective. Over the next couple of days, it’s better to lay low and make plans to be carried out around the full moon. Are we contributing to what’s going on around us, or are we separate from it? Are we fulfilled in the roles we have in group settings? Are we happy with the identity we’ve cultivated within those roles? The seeds are being planted now.

A couple of things going on in the sky right now that activate this energy in different ways. First, the T-square of Uranus in Aries square Pluto/Mercury in Capricorn square Jupiter in Libra is still going strong. Election fallout, maybe? We are still actively engaged in transforming the public world we live in, and as these planets are generally very slow moving, we’ll be figuring it out for awhile. We are expanding relationships while totally rebelling against the self-image that has been brought into focus recently. Surprisingly, Saturn’s placement in Sagittarius right now is offering relief to this T-square. This means that having a solid, grounded understanding of the philosophies that rule your life can provide relief to the attention/stress caused by the T-square. After the last couple months, Saturn and it’s sextile to Jupiter in Libra is encouraging us to remain calm in the storm, reminding that Saturn lessons are hard but ultimately here for our growth.

Luckily! Mercury exits the shadow zone of the Retrograde in Capricorn today (think I listed it as leaving on the 29th, but that’s wrong). There’s been a LOT of Big-Picture Life Planning going on, everyone has had an intense drive to figure out long term goals over the last month. Well, starting today we get to move forward on a lot of the issues we’ve been dealing with, breaking into new territory after what seems like months of rigamarole. Mercury will be passing over Pluto again in a few days, and we’ll have more chances to transform and meet our struggles with power through communication. The difference now is that we will be able to move on rather than be stuck in a quagmire. Go get em!

In the next week or so, both Venus and Mars will be moving from the sign of Pisces to the sign of Aries. This indicates to me that we’ve been in a bit of a dream state, feeling unusually immersed in our subconscious/dreamstate. When they are both fired up in Aries, I expect we’ll feel more into ourselves. It will definitely increase aggression, in terms of objectives, knowing what you want and how to get it. These planets in Aries could also have us feeling more ‘selfish.’ Which is fine, unless you forget the interests of others while you’re getting yours. And when I say get yours, I mean get ready for some sensual times. I’ll write more about both of these events, including the upcoming Venus Retrograde. So! We’ve been all up in our dreamy selves, serving others, connecting to the universe. Now we’ll be connecting with our own damn selves.

Use the energy of this moon cycle to recharge your group energy. Friends, contacts, networks are all of tantamount importance at this time. Many times, we define ourselves through our interactions with others. This Aquarius energy emphasizes that. No man is an island, and we’ll be very aware of that now. Aquarius is also the sign of hopes and dreams, so now is the time to plant as many seeds as possible. How are you fertilizing these seeds? How are you cultivating each step toward your goals? Are you taking action every day to reach that far-off star? Any actions in that direction will take you far.

Cheers!

Will

Full Moon in Aquarius 8/18 – OR, in which I built a fence

Hi there,

Bit late posting because I’ve been so very busy with these Leo new noon intentions. The August full moon, called the Red or Sturgeon Moon, happened at the end of 25° Aquarius at like 1 AM MST or something on Thursday.

The duality of Leo/Aquarius is best expressed, in my opinion, as the balance between personal power and people power. Leo is about personal creativity and expression, Aquarius is about maintaining that individuality within group dynamics and finding functionality as a whole. Leo is passionate and takes things personally, Aquarius is detached and seems at times not to be affected. They are opposite energies, but we couldn’t exist without both.

The moon in Aquarius gives us flashes of insight into the future. People with this moon placement in their charts have a very high intellectual capacity that is connected to their emotions. Aquarius’ cool detachment gives the moon a chance to breathe, but also to care about people on a larger scale. Humanitarian is the word for this natal placement.

This Leo moon cycle is about new heart impulses, new ways to find enjoyment and pleasure in life’s little moments and then creating those moments for yourself. This full moon plays into that by providing the interaction with humanity at large to establish what is your personal kingdom and how does that fit in with everyone else’s.

On a personal note, Saturday is my birthday! It’s been my intention since the Cancer new moon to have some house projects done, and especially this lunation, to have this yard finished and have a house party to celebrate this Leo ass. Full moons are strongest for about three days, so I think this fit in perfectly with my desire to establish my yard (Leo “kingdom” lol) and then have everyone over to enjoy it (Aquarius “people”).

Some interesting facets of this last week or so has been the conjunction of Mars and Saturn in Sag. The real pressure is on next week, as I wrote before, but the tensions have been steaming for the last week or two. Mars is drive and Saturn is restriction. Since the clock has been ticking, my intensity in completing the project has intensified. Saturn is coming in with the reality check of time and space and materials, while Mars (my ruling planet) has been ram-hammering those restrictions with relentless force. Ask anyone who’s been involved, and they will tell you that I’ve been pushy and bossy and quote possibly bitchy. I, however, will tell you how much stuff got done that wouldn’t have otherwise.

It’s interesting to me that Sag is foreign countries and the ‘other,’ while Saturn is physical boundaries and structures, all fired up by Mars’ initiative energy. This is kind of the perfect time to rebuild that fence that fell down years ago. The energy and the structure are there. If you haven’t been similarly using the tension of this aspect, you might be feeling trapped or constrained. I’m not saying I’m amazing or whatever, because trust me, unrelenting rage has also been a large part of the physical exertion of this fence. In fact, no one has been safe. The vicious takedowns have been real, including yelling a a neighbor’s guest who was trying to bullshit around while I was cutting lumber. Like, going OFF.

So before I try to pass of my bad behavior as destined by the stars any more, I’ll reinforce the idea that this new heart place we’re working on is our kingdom. It’s a new kingdom, populated by new people. I feel as though the Aquarian energy of this full moon is people running into each other with this whole new heart mojo. Does my energy fit with these people or groups of people anymore? Are my creations and contributions crucial to my teams successes and failures? Are my personal impulses and drives being recognized and honored by the group? I think a lot of the tensions in this very energetic time have to do with realigning yourself with those friends and groups of people with whom you relate. You are feeling new, I know I am. You might not feel like you align with old habits and ways of doing things. This full moon gives us the opportunity to check ourselves.

So it’s been an intense summer. I’m very much looking forward to celebrating my birthday and gathering, expressing the fun and harmony that this Full Moon can give. If you’re around, come play on Saturday! I promise I’ll have my wrath under control by then.

But by then, I’ll have a cute yard, too;)

Go out there and get it done!

Cheers,

Will

P.s. used my ephemeris as well as THE ONLY ASTROLOGY BOOK YOU’LL EVER NEED.
